We’ve all done it, created an E-mail with an error, or large attachment that then gets stuck in the Outlook Outbox, and no matter how hard we try we can’t get rid of it, Outlook keeps wanting to send it!
This is a problem that affects those on dial-up and home broadband accounts more than those on a corporate network as Microsoft Exchange tends to be quite good at handling these occurrences in a corporate environment. However, the solution to this problem is actually quite simple.
When you have a stuck item in your Outbox, start up Outlook (if it’s not already running) and under the ‘File‘ menu select the option ‘Work Offline‘ you will now be able to easily delete your stuck E-mail and carry on working as normal. (Just remember to switch the ‘offline’ option off when you’re done!)
