Using Full Screen Reading Mode

If you’re proof reading a document you probably want to get as much of it on screen at one time as you can. After all, if you’re just reading why have all those editing tools in the ribbon on display, this is where full screen reading mode comes in useful

Enter Full Screen Reading view by selecting it from the status bar at the bottom of the screen. Alternatively select the ‘View’ tab from the Ribbon and then ‘Full Screen Reading’

Switching On Word Full Screen Mode

You can then turn the pages using either the arrows in the corners of the pages or at the top of the screen. If you prefer not to use the mouse, you can navigate to specific pages numbers by typing them on the keyboard and then pressing ‘Enter’

Whilst you don’t have access to the document editing tools in Full Screen Reading view, there are some proofing tools available such as saving, printing, commenting and text highlighting.
